I just got off the phone with Jonny. The studio where they have been working lost power this afternoon and they are unable to continue recording. He had already been feeling stressed today seeing everything that needed to be completed in only two days, and then now, to not have any electricity, the feeling just got worse.
Please pray for wisdom for Jon and the team there as they look into changing tickets to extend their stay a few more days. We talked about it, and as much as I want him to come home (which I do, so much!) we don’t want him to come back without the project having been completed, or for it to be rushed, just like it was last year ( and the recordings unusable.) We know that God desires for these albums to be completed and He has great plans to use them to spread His Name throughout the nation of Kyrgyzstan and beyond!
- Please be in prayer for a quick completion of these two worship albums in the Russian and Kyrgyz languages.
- Pray for the electricity at the studio to come back on soon and for no other technical setbacks for the remainder of their time there.
- Pray for our family to remain strong with even more time of separation now. The time apart will be closer to three weeks now. Pray for health for me and the kids. Georgie had a high fever yesterday, but seems to be doing better today. Pray for continued healing.
- Pray for supernatural strength for Jonny, Aaron, Melanie and all the others on the worship team there. Pray that they can accomplish more than they could ever dream in the next few days.
What hope there is knowing that we serve a God who is greater than any problem (any power outage:), and none of this has caught Him by surprise!
Thank you also for praying for my Sunday School class. It went really well considering we had 8 boys, 2 girls, and three different languages 🙂 The Lord is good, and I am so privileged to be a part of this ministry to the little ones at Calvary Chapel Ternopil. It’s a blessing for sure!
“Now to Him who is able to do exeedingly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen!” Ephesians 3:20-21
By His Grace,
