Who  We  Are

The Essentials

We are a church associated with the Calvary Chapel movement in California under Chuck Smith. All we do and are comes down to: being led by God's Holy Word, living a life of prayer, and loving our neighbors.
There are many ways we are actively expressing love for God and others. Join us in this life fulfilling journey.

  • Worship with us Sundays and Wednesdays.
  • Pray with us as we lift up the needs of people, our church, our community, our nation, and the world.
  • Build lasting relationships and receive personalized care in a home group Bible study.
  • Join us for youth events, men's events, women's events, family events, vacation Bible school, and Behold Recovery.
  • Participate in outreaches in the community.

God's Word

Let the Word of Christ fill your lives in all its richness,
teaching and counseling each other with all His wisdom

We teach the whole counsel of God’s Word systematically, expositionally, and inductively, word-by-word and verse-by-verse.

We do this so the lost may find salvation and the church body may learn sound doctrine, grow in faith, deepen in maturity, and be thoroughly equipped for God’s work.

We purpose to do this in all aspects of our lives,
families, ministries, and the church body.

Life of Prayer

Pray continually, for this is God's will for you

We commit to being a people of prayer
at all times and for all things in our
families, ministries, and the church body.

We purpose to have a prayerful attitude of the heart
whereby we are in a continual state of seeking,
yielding, and depending on the Lord.

We purpose to maintain an attitude of prayer
so that we can hear from Him, know Him, and that
the unsaved of the world would be drawn to Him.

Fellowship

By this everyone will know
that you are My disciples,
if you love one another

The entire church body is called to minister
to one another through true, authentic,
and transparent fellowship.

The “one anothers” of God’s Word will guide and
hold accountable all people in the church body.

Our need for genuine fellowship with God and each other is created in us by the fellowship within God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

We desire the world to know that Jesus
is Lord and we are His disciples by
the true love that lives and breathes in us.

Expanding the Vision...

At Harvest Chapel, our mission extends far beyond our building. We are passionately committed to serving our neighbors through active community outreach and sharing the hope of the Gospel in clear, tangible ways. Whether through practical service projects or meaningful personal conversations, we exist to love our city, meet real needs, and make the life-changing message of Jesus known to everyone around us.

Our History

Harvest Chapel is a dynamic and uniquely transformative ministry under the leadership of Pastor Tom Camp.  Founded in a basement in the early 90's with just 20 members, the church has grown into a vibrant and diverse congregation, dedicated to serving the “who-so-evers” of our community.

One of the most striking examples of its mission is the transformation of a former topless bar into a house of worship. Sacred Grounds: RECLAIMED  now serves as a coffee shop contributing to the ongoing community renewal of Wabash Avenue. Guided by the Spirit and focused on glorifying Jesus Christ, Harvest Chapel continues to be a beacon of hope, offering worship, Bible study, and heartfelt ministry while playing a key role in revitalizing its neighborhood.

We long to share this awesome new life with you.

Be a Part of our Story...

Join us every Sunday as we gather to worship together at 9:00 am and 11:00 am
and every Wednesday from 6:45 to 8:00 pm.
